Lock the door, set you timer for 30 minutes and put on your best relaxing music...

Lying flat on your back, bring the feet at least 1 1/2 feet (50 centimetres) apart, and allow the toes to fall outward to the sides.

Why Be Wary of So-called 'Success Rates'

As you may be aware, I don't publish personal success rates or make statistical claims as to the effectiveness of my therapy in advertising material. You will rarely find a legitimate psychologist, psychotherapists or ethical hypnotherapist who does.

The great news is that whatever your age can still get significant health benefit and live longer by stopping smoking.

Even if you have already developed smoking related health problems, such as heart or lung disease, the research evidence shows substantial benefits.

For example, if you stop smoking at aged 40, evidence shows that you will live on average 9 years longer than another 40 year old who continues to smoke. Even if...

Currently there is no statutory regulation of Hypnotherapists, which means, terrifyingly, anyone can call themselves a hypnotherapist with little or no training.

In order to ensure that clients can rest assured that the hypnotherapist they choose has undergone a certain standard and length of training, the Complementary and Natural Health Care Council (CNHC) now incorporates a voluntary register.

When choosing a hypnotherapist...

Hypnotherapy as a Strategic Therapy

Post date: Sun, 08/02/2015 - 10:47

With many different therapy approaches available to a prospective client, what type of therapy is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a Strategic Therapy. 'Strategic Therapy' is not a particular theory or approach, but the name for those types of therapy where the therapist takes an active responsibility for directly influencing people. In fact, I am confident in saying that therapy using hypnosis, with its long history going back centuries...
