Terms and Conditions

Please find the terms and conditions of my services detailed below.

 

1. You must be aged 18 years or over to book any services with me.
 

2. Hypnosis sessions are offered to residents of the UK only.

Other services (without hypnosis) are available worldwide. You must be a UK resident to book a hypnotherapy session.
 

3. Personal Identify Check.

Because we are working online, you agree to verify your personal identity and address to me either ahead of our first session or at our first video session. This can be either by copies of ID sent ahead or photo ID (eg driving license, passport) shown at our first session.
 

4. New Client Intake Forms.

You agree to complete and return to me all New Client Intake and Assessment questionnaires in full as honestly as possible at least 1 week ahead of your first session or I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your assessment session until I have received them.
 

5. Results

You understand that your results will depend upon your own efforts to implement my recommendations and guidance. To achieve the results you desire, you must be motivated and ready to do what is required to change for the better.  Whilst I can guide you, only you have the power and responsibility to change your own life.

Results vary and are dependent on multiple complex factors, many of which I as the therapist have no control over. Many clients achieve excellent life-enhancing results with my approach, but I cannot, and do not, promise you any particular results. It would be unfair to expect this from me. 

By undertaking this work with me, you accept that I cannot guarantee that you will achieve your desired outcome, despite our best efforts. Fees are independent of results or outcomes and are in consideration of my time, energy, training, and expertise. Refunds are not offered in any circumstances.
 

6. Services are NOT medical treatment.

All sessions and services with me are NOT to be considered medical treatment. I no longer offer conventional medical services, diagnostic or prescribing. You maintain full responsibility for seeking and abiding by your own Doctor’s medical advice and treatment.  

 
7. Session Attendance and Technology/Zoom Check

All sessions must start and end on time. If you arrive late for a session, you will be required to pay for the full session time as booked. I may at times run over a session end time if I am able and feel it would be beneficial. If I do this is entirely at my discretion.

You are fully responsible for checking your technology/ Zoom works ahead of our session.  The easiest way to do this is to test a Zoom call with a friend so that you can be sure your audio and video are working.
 

8. Confidentiality 

I will never disclose any clinical information you share with me to a third party without your explicit consent unless I am required to do so by law. This would only be if I felt real concern about possible harm to yourself or others or you tell me about anything illegal that I have a duty by law to report.

 

9. Fees and Payment 

Fees will be clear to you ahead of booking. Payment can be made by bank transfer or via debit /credit cards.

I reserve the right to change my fees at any time, but this will not affect fees for any session or package you have already purchased. 
 

10. Refund Policy 

No refunds are given for booked sessions, packages or courses. Sessions can be rescheduled with more than 72 hours’ notice. After 72 hours, changes are not possible.

I reserve the right to cancel a booked appointment at any time, although I will always do my best to give you as much notice as I possibly can. Last minute cancellations from me would only occur in exceptional and unforeseen circumstances, such as personal emergency.  

Any session that I need to cancel will be either rescheduled or refunded in full for you. I can accept no liability whatsoever for any wider financial or other consequences of such emergency cancellation. 

 
11. The Right to Terminate Therapy 

I reserve the right to terminate our work at any time and with no explanation. This would generally only happen if it became apparent that I was not the best person to help you. Where I can, I will suggest an alternative. If I am unable to fulfil my obligation to our work, you will receive a full refund for planned work outstanding. If I need to terminate our work because of unacceptable client behaviour, any payments already made will be non-refundable. 

You also have the right to terminate our work at any time. Refund policy applies.

 
12. Data Protection / Privacy Policy

I hold all data and records securely in line with the Code of Ethics of my professional organisations and in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. In agreeing to these terms, you agree to our Privacy Policy displayed on our website here at

13. Death or Incapacity of Therapist 

If I was to become suddenly incapacitated by serious illness or death during our work together, you agree to be contacted by my assistant to make you aware of this situation and offer you help with alternative therapist support. 

 
14. Complaints Policy 

If you are unhappy with any aspect of my service, please do tell me the moment this comes up for you. I will always do my very best to resolve the matter for you personally to your satisfaction. If we are unable to resolve this matter between us to your satisfaction, I will explain to you the complaints procedure. 
 

15. Use of Copyrighted Matter 

All written, audio or video matter used for your information and treatment remains the intellectual property of Dr Emma Rae Rhead and cannot be used, shared or resold in any circumstances without our express consent.  To do so will be a breach of copyright law.

Booking any session, package or service with me means that you are agreeing to these terms and conditions in full. You will be asked to confirm that you agreed to these terms on booking.
